Can I install navigation system on 2008 Nissan Pathfinder LE?

Can you answer coldcity80’s question about GPS?:

I want to install an after market navigation system on my pathfinder. Does anyone know if that will actually affect the main and steering wheel controls to the radio/CD player? Will I lose any or all of those controls?

GPS Feedback: Yes, those controls are designed for just ONE radio system (the factory). You will probably lose ALL the steering wheel radio controls.

This is away for car companies to FORCE you to get SatNav system from them (or any kind of sound system upgrade option).

    Good Luck…

GPS Feedback: Not worth the pain in the ass for the conversion , You will spend alot of money to convert it ,if am correct they have to replace windshield to install antenna….

GPS Feedback: I would rather get a GPS, like Garmin from a local store because Installing a navigation from a dealer is really expensive, they can charge somewhere from $1850 to $2200.

For example A nissan maxima’s 2004 navigation would cost you $1800 + tax. Its not worth it but its better to get a portable one but remember DO NOT PUT IT ON YOUR WINDSHIELD, it will stick and impossible to remove. it can damage the windshield too
