Are there concerns with GPS and Radio Frequency Interference?
Answered By Editor
There are concerns regarding GPS and radio
frequency interference. All signal devices
can be interfered by another device whether
intentional or accidental. The government is
finding ways to detect the causes of
interference that may affect the transmission
of the GPS. The government also thinks of the
possible ways in which they can lower or even
eliminate radio frequency interferences.
One thing to keep in mind is that others
can access your same radio frequency. So, if
you use your GPS to locate someone or
something, others on the same frequency will
also know the same location.
